Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to check out our job opportunity. The CPUC non-IT services Contracting Unit is looking to add a new member to our friendly team. We are seeking a motivated, detailed oriented, multi-tasker that is willing to be trained and learn new skills.

Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager, I (Supervisor) for the non-IT services Contracting Unit the incumbent process incoming requests for non-IT services contracts in adherence to the rules and regulations contained within and the State Contracting Manual (SCM).

Working Conditions

This position requires travel.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. In accordance with CPUC Telework Policy, telework arrangements are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Experience with Fi$Cal or other centralized computer program/system that encompasses Budgets, Accounting, Procurement, Tracking and/or Accountability or like systems.
  • Experience interpreting laws, rules and/or regulations.
